焊接（jiē）鋼管采用的坯（pī）料是鋼板（bǎn）或帶鋼（gāng），因其焊接工藝不同而分為爐焊管、電焊(電阻焊)管和自動電弧焊管。因其焊接形式的不同分為直縫焊（hàn）管（guǎn）和螺旋焊管兩種。因（yīn）其端部（bù）形狀又（yòu）分為圓形焊（hàn）管和（hé）異（yì）型(方、扁等（děng）)焊管。焊管因其材質和用（yòng）途不同而分為如下若幹品種：

GB/T3091-1993 (Galvanized Welded Steel Pipe for Low Pressure Fluid Conveyance). Mainly used for conveying water, gas, air, oil, heating hot water or steam and other general low pressure fluids and other purpose pipes. Its representative material is grade Q235A steel.
GB/T3092-1993(低壓流體輸送用鍍鋅焊接鋼管)。主要用於（yú）輸送水、煤氣、空氣（qì）、油和取暖熱水或蒸汽等一般較（jiào）低壓（yā）力流體和其它用途管（guǎn）。其代表材質為：Q235A級鋼。
GB/T3092-1993 (Galvanized Welded Steel Pipe for Low Pressure Fluid Conveyance). Mainly used for conveying water, gas, air, oil, heating hot water or steam and other general low pressure fluids and other purpose pipes. Its representative material is Q235A grade steel.
GB/T14291-1992(礦用流體輸送焊（hàn）接（jiē）鋼管)。主要用於礦山壓風、排水、軸放瓦斯用直縫焊（hàn）接（jiē）鋼管。其代表材質Q235A、B級鋼。GB/T14980-1994(低壓（yā）流（liú）體輸送用大直徑電焊鋼管)。主要用於輸送水、汙水、煤氣、空氣、采暖蒸汽等低壓流體和其它用途。其代表材質Q235A級鋼。
GB/T 14291-1992 (Welded Pipe for Mine Fluid Transport). Mainly used for mine air pressure, drainage, shaft gas drainage with straight seam welded steel pipe. Its representative material is grade Q235A and B steel. GB/T 14980-1994 (Large Diameter Welded Steel Pipe for Low Pressure Fluid Conveyance).
